List the molecular masses of carbon dioxide, oxygen, and helium. Explain how you get this from the Periodic Table.
CO2- Look at the periodic table of elements and you see the weight for oxygen is 16 g/mole and there's two of those so you add the two together and then for carbon the weight is 12 g/mole so when you add those all together you get the molecular mass which is 32 g/mole.
You do this technique the same for oxygen and helium.
O2- 16 g/mole plus 16 g/mole equals 32 g/mole
He- 4 g/mole
